Microsoft, Amazon, Google, Palantir Poised to Win Big in AI Cloud Race

May 9 – Software giants like Microsoft (NASDAQ:MSFT), Amazon (NASDAQ:AMZN), Google (NASDAQ:GOOG), and Palantir Technologies (NASDAQ:PLTR) are well-positioned to benefit from rising enterprise demand for artificial intelligence, according to Wedbush Securities.

In a recent note, analysts said over 15% of cloud workloads now involve AI, with growing model integration expected to accelerate revenue while helping cut costs. Amid economic uncertainty, they added, AI remains a top spending priority across the tech landscape.

The firm highlighted Microsoft, Amazon, and Google as core beneficiaries of this trend, as cloud and AI investments continue regardless of broader macro conditions.

Wedbush also flagged Palantir as an emerging winner in the enterprise AI space due to its growing presence in commercial use cases.

Capital expenditures from major hyperscalers, including Meta (NASDAQ:META), are expected to reach $325 billion in 2025, a 40% year-over-year increase, underscoring confidence in long-term AI adoption.

Software is now squarely in the spotlight, analysts wrote, pointing to 2025 as a potential tipping point for widespread enterprise use of AI tools.

The note reflects Wedbush’s upbeat view on software outperforming other tech segments through the next cycle.
