A man has been arrested for engaging in suspected indecent behaviour with another male patient in a hospital ward toilet in Hong Kong.
The Kwai Chung Hospital revealed the incident on Saturday, pledging to “fully cooperate with the police investigation”.
According to the hospital, a nurse in a ward was notified at around 9.30pm on Friday of an incident involving “suspected indecent behavior between two adult male patients that occurred in the toilet of the ward”.
“The nurse immediately followed up and investigated the incident as well as notified the police,” a hospital spokesman said. “Police subsequently arrested one of the patients in the ward.”
The hospital said it was “highly concerned” about the matter and had promptly arranged for patients involved to be separated into different wards.
