As enterprises navigate the complexities of artificial intelligence adoption, they increasingly focus on leveraging AI-native strategies to drive operational efficiency, enhance customer experiences and achieve sustainable growth.
IBM Corp. has been a major force in shaping the enterprise AI landscape, with a focus on AI-native solutions, workflow optimization and scalable automation. Big Blue has emphasized that AI should not merely be an add-on to existing processes, but a foundational component of business strategy. Organizations that successfully align their AI strategy with their core operations can gain advantages in speed, efficiency and revenue growth.
“We believe generative AI is fueling the next level of end-to-end business operations — a step function beyond traditional business process optimization,” said Dave Vellante, chief analyst at theCUBE Research. “In our opinion, organizations that unify their data and processes under an AI-driven framework see a faster return on investment, greater customer satisfaction and a more resilient operating model. By embracing AI as a catalyst for transformation and partnering to fill skills gaps, enterprises can break free from incremental gains and unlock truly game-changing improvements in efficiency, service delivery and ultimately top-line revenue generation.”
The “AI-Powered Business Operations: Strategies for End-to-End Transformation” event on March 19, kicking off at 10 AM PT, will explore how enterprises can apply AI-driven automation, workforce strategies and data intelligence to enhance business outcomes. Join theCUBE, SiliconANGLE Media’s livestreaming studio, for our exclusive coverage of this event as Vellante talks with IBM and other industry leaders about the role of AI in driving operational excellence, the evolving landscape of intelligent automation and use cases that demonstrate AI’s impact on enterprise efficiency and growth. How AI-native strategies, automation and workforce transformation are reshaping enterprise operations
The next wave of AI adoption goes beyond just integrating automation; it’s also about creating AI-native business models that optimize workflows and maximize return on investment. IBM Consulting Services has been at the forefront of helping enterprises transition to AI-native strategies, offering services that integrate AI with existing processes while ensuring transparency and scalability.
IBM’s AI Integration Services, a key initiative within IBM Consulting, is designed to help enterprises automate core business processes using AI-powered agents, according to the company. These agents do more than automate tasks; they function within coordinated systems to enhance operational efficiency. However, many early AI implementations have struggled due to fragmented and outdated corporate data, making IBM’s orchestrated AI adoption approach particularly relevant.
“Almost every organization has legacy IT systems with disparate applications and complex integrations, which makes it harder to pull data from where it’s needed to support new AI-powered processes,” according to Francesco Brenna, vice president and senior partner of AI Integration Services at IBM.
Beyond automation, IBM’s AI strategy is deeply rooted in an ecosystem-based approach. Instead of a one-size-fits-all AI model, IBM partners with SAP SE, Amazon Web Services Inc., Microsoft Corp. and Salesforce Inc. to deliver flexible, AI-native solutions tailored to diverse business needs. This strategy allows enterprises to adopt AI on their own terms, ensuring that AI enhances existing business models rather than disrupting them, according to Mohamad Ali, senior vice president and head of IBM Consulting at IBM.
“We are redesigning our products to be AI-native rather than AI-enabled,” Ali told theCUBE, during a recent interview. “That means AI is at the core of how these tools function — not just an add-on feature.”
Throughout the event, attendees can expect insights into AI-native strategies that can help optimize business operations, foster workforce transformation and deliver measurable business outcomes. Viewers can also anticipate discussions on real-world applications of IBM’s AI solutions, demonstrating how organizations can balance innovation with return on investment.
