In Michigan, servers had been preparing for a big change to their wages as the state was set to phase out its two tiered system that allows employers to pay tipped workers less than the state’s standard minimum wage. But some servers argued the change would mean losing money, and now the state has changed course. NBC News’ Christine Romans reports.
