Child’s Sharp Question About Trump Delivers Viral Moment At White House

A young child’s question to Trump White House press secretary Karoline Leavitt during the White House’s annual “Take Our Daughters and Sons to Work Day” drew laughs from the room — and a telling response.

“Which is Trump’s favorite president — besides himself?” the child asked, prompting an eruption of laughter from the crowd.

“That’s a good question, because it would be – uh, probably, himself,” Leavitt replied, a nod to Trump’s well-documented self-regard.

She then added, “I think that perhaps he would say George Washington. I know he speaks very highly of George Washington, who was, of course, the first president of our great country. And he has his big, beautiful portrait hanging in the Oval Office above the fireplace. Good question.”

Also in the session, Leavitt dodged another tricky question — about which of Trump’s five children (Ivanka, Don Jr., Eric, Tiffany and Barron) is his favorite.

“That is a very controversial question and I am not going to answer it,” Leavitt said with a grin. “He loves all of his children very much, and they’re all great kids.”

In other answers, Leavitt revealed Trump likes to give hugs, his favorite food is “probably steak,” his favorite ice cream is sundaes with chocolate sauce and toppings and his likely preferred superpower would be to snap his fingers and solve what he believes America’s problems to be in an instant.
