Good Morning

And welcome to another Sunday morning Guardian live blog.

Prime minister Anthony Albanese is in Delaware this morning for the Quad summit, which hosted Australia, the US, Japan and India. The meeting was the fourth time the body has met, with leaders discussing international cooperation on regional security, public health and climate.

Albanese spoke to reporters on Sunday morning to announce a series of initiatives among members of the Quad to improve monitoring of maritime waters and a program to allow Australian personnel to serve aboard coastguard ships of other nations.

I’m Royce Kurmelovs and I’ll be taking the blog through the day.
