Eurovision 2025 celebrates record-breaking linguistic diversity




This year’s Eurovision Song Contest sets a new record for linguistic diversity, with artists performing in 20 different languages — the highest number since the 1999 rule change that lifted the requirement for songs to be in a national language, leading to the dominance of English.
