Americans with a Siri-enabled Apple device can file a claim for part of a $95 million legal settlement that the phone maker has agreed to pay. The settlement stems from a 2021 lawsuit, Lopez v. Apple, filed in federal court in San Jose, Calif., claiming that Apple recorded users without their knowledge when they inadvertently activated the Siri virtual assistant on their devices. Without admitting fault, Apple agreed to settle the case earlier this year.
