YouTube creators are beginning to get their Hollywood moment. Streamers including Netflix NBCUniversal’s Peacock and Amazon.com are wooing web creators—and their legions of fans—for new series or spinoffs, courting a category of performers whose fare rarely used to make the jump to subscription streaming services. The change is a sign of Google-owned YouTube’s tightening grip on America’s TV time.
